WHAT the NUMBERS and LETTERS MEAN
The marking on tires are a mystery for a lot of drivers, but they are not as difficult as they might seem.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN???
The "P" stands for passenger tire. The number "205" is the width of the tire. The higher the number, the wider the tire. The"205" shows that this tire is 205 millimeters from sidewall to sidewall.
The "60" represents the tire's height in proportion to its width. This tire is 60% as high as it is wide. The "R" stands for radial. The "15" is the rim diameter. The "90" is the load rating and the "H" is the speed rating. An "H" tire is certified for speeds up to 130 miles per hour.
